Dean's Chalet - This is for Luis

Deanie organised a chalet for nuasters... No particular occassion for this chalet, just a little get together for the nuasters...

Vanilla being the only one who's not working and on holidays, met up with Deanie in the noon to buy the food items.

Deanie picked Vanilla up.....

He's covering his mouth coz he doesn't wana let Vanilla take a pic of his unshaven face!

But......

nyahahhahaha.... of coz Vanilla won!

They went down to this BBQ specialisation place .... Deanie said its geylang lorong 27...... (Right beside Aljunied MRT station)

their brochure......

they sell a pretty comprehensive list of items needed for bbq.....

this is their shop....

but in the end they only bought otah and a bag of teriyaki chicken sticks from them because they felt that maybe buying from the supermarkets ourselves will be cheaper and they wanted city satay...

As they were waiting for their orders, Deanie pointed out this machine to Vanilla....

Its a machine used to heat up otah (i think)....

haha.. *proud* coz they're both from SP!

After they got the stuff from there, they decided to head for lunch! Hee.. since City Satay is located along Tanjong Katong Road, Vanilla suggested they go for Katong Laksa

Deanie brought Vanilla to this 328 Katong Laksa...

hmm... alot of celebrity pics!

Anyway, the laksa....

Lunch was good. After lunch, they went over to City Satay....

The sales people were pretty nice and friendly... they bought a bag of chicken, a bag of mutton and a bag of Seaweed chicken!

After City Satay, they proceeded to Shing Shong supermarket to buy the rest of the stuff required .....

They bought seafood!

Deanie almost wanted to buy the prawns at $16 per kg..

Vanilla stopped him.. so expensive! There were some that were much cheaper, around the same size but only $11 per kg!

Den they decided to buy one crab also... wasn't very expensive but they weren't exactly sure how to cook them...

Look at the ladies in the pic! They are so brave! A couple of them used their hands to touch and pick the crabs!

Hur.. of coz Vanilla gave Deanie the honour of selecting and picking up the crab...

Ahh... succeeded!

Den it was sting ray....

den for the butter... Deanie wanted to get Planta.. but because Planta changed their packaging.....

He refused to get Planta! So in the end they got butter...

Den Deanie went to get a can of lychee.. when he walked back Vanilla teased him by saying... " U ownself eat can already la..."

haha.... he LL walked back to get another can of longan!

They were done shopping by ard 4.20 pm.. had to rush to Changi by 5 pm to check into the chalet...

Its been a rainy day... got to Changi at ard 4.50 pm.... Deanie went to check in and get the keys...

Its the chalet for SAF members...

Upon entering the chalet, u can't help but be captivated by the scenery....

Everything's pretty clean... comes with a kitchen and even cuttlery and utensils....

A spiral staircase dat links to the second floor where the rooms are.....

There are 2 rooms, 1 toilet at level 2....

After they were done exploring ard the chalet, Deanie brought the stuff that was bought to thaw......

Decided they were thristy and proceeded to drive over to the Changi Village Cheers to get ice cubes.

Went back to the chalet and made drinks for themselves... Deanie was adding Chivas to his drink already!

Hello!! Its only 5 plus leh!! lol

Den they started the marinating work....

or rather, Deanie started the marinating work coz he was the one who washed the chicken and marinated the chicken wings....

He was asking Vanilla ... " Hmm.. need to remove the feathers? "

Vanilla gave him a SHOCKED AND OBVIOUSLY NEED expression and told him... " dean! Obviously right? "

haha... he saw her expression, he went luffing away... -.O""

Vanilla helped to prepare the sting rays... (and having fun taking pics of the steps)...

Step 1 was spreading butter on the aluminium foil....

Step 2 was to spread the sambal chilli sauce.....

and place the sting ray on the foil....

also spread more chilli on the sting ray itself den wrap up!

because Vanilla dun eat chilli... they tried to experiment one w/o the sambal chilli sauces... added pepper and butter...

hur hur.. den as dean added Chivas to one of the sting ray he prepared, Vanilla requested to add some into hers as well!

Kindly note, NOT to follow any of the sting ray preparation steps above.. haha... u'll find out why further below....

and here's the food they prepared....

There's crabsticks, hotdogs, taiwan sausages, sting ray, prawns, marshmallows, otah, satay, seaweed japanese crispy chicken...

and of coz, Chicken wings!

Once the food were done, Deanie started preparing the pit...

coz it was raining and he didn't wana use the pits provided....

After all was done, all they had to do was to sit ard and wait for the rest to come... which the rest will definitely come only after 7.30 pm coz Haybe knocks off by that time and Andy went over to give her a ride...

So there were they...resting, watching tv.... reading the papers....

By ard.. 6.30 pm, despite knowing that the rest will only get here by ard 8 pm, Deanie started to start the fire already!

They decided to wait no more! haha... Deanie started to bbq already!

A whole feast of food and can see cannot touch.. how can?? lol....

haha.. some pass, some fail one!

After eating her first otah, a fish bone got stuck in Vanilla's throat! It was painful!!! Slight irregular pain but just couldn't get it out... din koe wat to do either... called up haybe and andy, they got bobo and kendi to help vanilla buy some rice hoping that it'll help bring down the fishbone...

Hazel was the first to arrive..... she got here at ard 7 plus...

She also helped to buy corn and sweet potato (forgot to take a pic of it)....

den Andy and Haybe arrived...

my god! look at Andy's hair! haha... Its too long and it totally reminds us of those Hongkong movie's mainland china illegal immigrant! haha... I think one of Chow Yuen Fatt's movie is of this image! LOL

and the rice they helped Vanilla to buy.....

She guai guai eat up a few mouthfuls of the rice....

Deanie and andy were both suggesting she TA down the alcohol they brought... -.O"" of coz she din believe them! lol

She decided to bear with the pain since its kinda bearable....

As everyone was eating, Andy was very nice! He shelled the prawns for Vanilla....

and fed her! lol

Bobo arrived subsequently with Kendi.....

Kendi has also cut her fringe to a slanted style and rebonded her hair!

and everyone was teasing Andy about his hair... asking him to cut it.. but Vanilla told him she has HONESTLY seen people with such long thick hair and still look funky and stylo... den he began using his hands to brush his hair up and go round asking people if he looks stylo!

Alamak.. not in this outfit la! And gotta minus his ah beng-ish way of talking! haha..

and remember just now u were warned about the sting ray? haha.. This is the sting ray dat Deanie prepared.... with a different brand of chilli sauce which he said is power one.. and he added chivas....

Haybe had the honour of trying it first...

its edible but not tasty at all!

By the time everyone were kinda full... all the girls were sitting ard the pit bbq-ing.....

Marshmallows! haha.. trying to achieve the nicest crispy on the outside, melting soft on the inside marshmallow! haha...

After everyone's full.. MAHJONG TIME! haha.. Vanilla got andy to open the table and arrange the tiles...

Only to realise we don't have enuff kahs.. only Deanie, Andy and Vanilla know how to play.. the rest duno how to play and bobo doesnt wana play...

oh ya.. Vanilla and Haybe finally managed to pass Bobo his bday present.... though very belated....

They got him a belt from Armani... when they tried to get him to try it on and to take a pic of him in it, he said must adjust abit to make 'there' look big....

hahaha... totally hilarious!

bobo left shortly after with Kendi... Hazel also had her friend to pick her up coz she's gotta work tml....

So Andy, Deanie and Vanilla played 3 person mahjong...

The guyskept winning... Vanilla lost big time after like 2 rounds?

haha.. but den Luis came to save the day!

Luis arrived with his girlfriend Sharon and her doggie Jiao!

Jiao is cute! haha...

Anyway, Luis's arrival means they can stop the 3 person mahjong to play the normal mahjong coz he and Sharon both know how to play mahjong... and hahaha.. Andy and Dean cancelled off the previous losses! hahaha...

As Sharon, Deanie, Andy and vanilla played mahjong, Luis and Haybe went out to buy more beer... when Luis came back, he offered the beer to......

Jiao!

Haha...

Of coz, din feed it to Jiao la!

and because Andy's set of mahjong din have enuff chips, Andy suggested we jot down the winnings and losses using paper and pen....

hahaha... it was HILARIOUS coz he had a hard time keeping track, recording and calculating till he got blur! hahaha...

We finished one round of game mahjong at ard 2.50 am.....

What's there to do.. and haha.. Luis and Sharon have not had the bbq food....

So it was start fire! BBQ TIME AGAIN!

Strangely enuff, aside from us, there were at least 3 other groups of people also BBQ-ing away!

Haha.. is this norm for chalets? To start fire and start bbq-ing away at ard 3 am! haha....

As sharon was carrying Jiao, Vanilla tried to play some music using my mobile to see if Jiao reacts to it... She played songs like Holly Valence's Kiss Kiss and Kylie's Red Blooded Woman... haha.. Luis who was by the side said.. Jiao doesn't like Devilsbar music one! She likes techno! Music Underground music! haha..

He tried to prove it by playing techno using his mobile....

HAHAHHAA... Jiao TURNED HER HEAD AWAY! HAHAHHAHAHAHA

Luis and Sharon left with Jiao around awhile... Andy went to bed....

Deanie, Haybe and Vanilla chatted awhile about some common friends... Deanie went to bed shortly after as well....

Haybe and Vanilla continued chatting.

Halfway thru their chats, Andy suddenly woke up from his sleep and came looking for food....

haha.. he decided to sit ard and chat for the time frame of a smoke. When vanilla tried to take a pic of him.. he went... " don't take already.. already no one wants me already.. " haha..

we chatted about some common friends as well...

Haybe was playing with the mahjong tiles like it was building blocks....

After his smoke, Andy went back to sleep.. dat was already 5.30 am... Haybe and Vanilla also went upstairs to wash up and try to sleep...

A coincidence

Vanilla went over to east coast park to attend a friend's birthday bbq.

After the bbq, she went over to the ECP MacDonald's with a few friends and coincidentally, she
bumped into Bobo and Deanie.

Bobo and Deanie were there to visit the beach bar for drinks. Vanilla joined them shortly after.

the beach bar had a really nice atmosphere.. with the wind in my face, and the scenic decorations, it immediately put one's mood at ease.

The guys this big barrel of beer on their table... wow.. they can really drink man...

and see how they were playing with the food...

i mean the second pic.. not the first one.. the first one is sotong ball and second one is deanie's favourite spring roll. Actually there were chicken wings also but i forgot to take pics. i was too engrossed in taking pics of the frogs beside us by the little water stream...

hmm.. can see? The frogs were croaking all the way and when they do, there's this big bubble around their erm.. throat? chest? hmm... forgive me i dun haf ample general knowledge. =p

the froggies did attract a number of kids over... these were mainly kids who were camping over...

of coz, the 2 of them were more interested in sianing the waitress den the frogs... no la... im joking. there was this waitress by the name of Shuqing who was very friendly. haha... as u all koe, even aunty servers Bobo would also siao-kian.. let alone cute friendly girls right. haha...

had a good chat session them.

the 2 guys were enjoying their barrel of beer while Vanilla had mineral water...

Vanilla showed Bobo the picture of the pink digital camera from panasonic that Erica showed her last night...

Bobo gave his expertise advice about this camera... apparently its not very good.

The chat was good. As usual with Bobo around, lotsa jokes and laughters. He was telling us.. " Good friday is over le leh... " Vanilla understood him immediately. haha... well, ever since last christmas Erica used " I wana find a bf before christmas " and den by new year " I wana find a bf before new year " and eventually got together with Andy, we started to tease dat this method works.

So Bobo change his nick to " I wana find a gf before cny ". Since Vanilla had no plans to get attached, her nick became " I wana find my loh gong zai a gf before cny ". den it was valentines... and one public holiday after another, the nick evenutally got changed to " I wana find a gf before the next public holiday dat is Good Friday " and " I wana find a gf for my loh gong zai before the next public holiday dat is Good Friday ". haha... till now Bobo is single.

according to Bobo, the next public holiday is labour day. is it? Not very sure but anyways, any takers? lol

Cant remember how the conversation went on to radiation and stuff.. haha.. but it was definitely an interesting and informative conversation and we came to the conclusion that in time to come, there might be more females then males in years to come... radiation resulting in mutation or changes in genes and X Y chromosomes. haha...

we also organised an upcoming overseas trip..or was it 2?

oh... n if u actually do patronise this beach bar and u're cheapo, lol.. u dun hafta order finger food. coz by a certain hour when they cant finish selling their stuff, they would actually come round with baskets of finger food to offer to customers to try for free. haha...

by around 2 plus Maia came into the beach bar! But we din go over or take any pics wif her coz we were pretty much engrossed in some serious chats. Filed confidential. haha..

Deanie sent us home at around 3 pm.

Bobo and Deanie went to pick Vanilla up in school. Den we headed for Paragon's Ding Tai Feng for dinner with haybe and icy.

Have long heard of Ding Tai Feng but never visited this place. Apparently its quite famous for its Xiao Long Bao and chinese food.

while waiting for our table, we were looking at the chefs at work...

and theres the menu to drool over...

wow.. looks pretty exquisite right?

we ordered ALOT of food... n we basically shared everything...

honestly, we find the xiao long bao so so only. Crystal Jade's one is much better! But the beef noodle and the pork ribs taste great! Steamed meat bun was too hard... Fried Rice was not bad (salty enuff...keke).. the rest were ok... But overall, the honest truth is crystal jade is much nicer in terms of food taste and variety and definitely price.

when the spicy soup just came, Bobo was serving and portioning the soup for us...

Its a rare sight oki!! usually Bobo waits for us to serve him one! hahhaaha...

n look at the shrimp dumpling, doesn't it look at a stamp? so Bobo was jokingly using the dumping like it was a stamp, added vinegar to it like the vinegar dish was the stamp pad and tried to give Vanilla a stamp... he said its like the stamps u get when u go clubbing... this one is for entering Ding Tai Feng after paying the cover! hahhaha...

ya.. so here's the stamp.. lol...

because we were sharing the food.. plates were passed from one to another.. all of us were holding to the plate to eat the food as if there was no table!

n like i said the steamed meat bun was quite hard n in fact not very nice.... but we've already ordered, shouldnt waste food so everyone had to haf a bite to share and finish it.. everyone except icy who doesnt eat seafood, pork, chicken rice, blah blah blah... (we began to wonder what exactly does icy eats!) lol..

see Bobo was actually the last to bite so he had to finish whatever was left... this was something amusing he said before he threw the remaining half of the bao into his mouth...

haha..Bobo.. gambatae! i will also do!!

den as usual, Bobo was siao kian-ing the servers... when one of the dishes came, Bobo asked if it was free, on the house... the server obviously replied no. den he smoked the server by saying he koes the boss and even said Vanilla is the lady boss of the Hong Kong branch!

hahahhaa... nxt time if u go Ding Tai Feng, quote Vanilla's name k? Maybe they might gif u discount! =x hahaha...

n den ask we chatted we went on to talking about our gucci keypouch. Bobo was recommending his keypouch and when he showed us, Haybe commented dat it can really put alot of keys. And my Bobo's crappy reply was... " ya loh! can put ur keys, my loh por zai's (vanilla) keys, icy's keys, deanie's keys! "

Imagine all our keys in one keypouch! hahhaa

dat'll feel so funny!

guess who paid for the meal first? hee... yes.. Vanilla!! She signed for the bill using her virgin credit card!! n it was its virgin swipe!!

we were luffing and joking about her virgin card at the cashier.. even the cashier was amused! haha... we asked whether if the machine got wear condom anot... haha.. *piangz*

After dinner, Haybe wanted to treat us to ice cream.. but we were all really full. So Haybe and vanilla chose a flavour each and shared. Den this deanie.... haha.. he was also trying to be funny.. after he tried the ice cream he pretended he din wana return it to us!

see how cocky he looked? haha... and the funniest part was what Haybe said to him...

hahhaa.. i thot dat was really funny!!!

We din stay long, just went back after this.

Plaza Parkroyal Hotel Buffet

Vanilla's Mummy recommended Plaza Parkroyal Hotel's buffet the other time so we're bringing Bobo and Haybe to try....

For those who duno where it is... well, its near beach road... Vanilla's Mum and my da yee are kinda regulars there.. haha..

Bobo picked Vanilla's mum and Vanilla up via cab (Bobo.. when are u buying ur car??) Lol

heres the food from plaza parkroyal...

that's not it....

sharks fins soup is not bad.. similiar to the one at the $10 ktv (refer here)

and sashimi...

they haf the octopus, salmon n sword fish.. but they din haf Bobo's fav maguro!

and the haf drunken prawns... first time im having drunken prawns for buffet...

the soup was quite good!

the prawn was exceptionally tasty coz.....

Bobo was the one shelling the prawn shells for us! haha.. all 3 of us ladies.. how sweet right? haha... (actually this is quite rare one.... =x)

according to Vanilla's mama, they are quite famous for their prata... especially their durian prata... Haybe and Vanilla dun eat durians.. but Bobo upon one mouthful.... he went like "WOW... POWER" haha.. Vanilla couldnt resist n actually tried... eh.. lets just say she duno how to appreciate durian...

they make the prata on the spot and the haf several different prata flavours... roti prata with durian, roti prata with banana, prata with sardines, roti prata with egg and plain roti prata. Haybe and Bobo both think their prata is very good....

n den for dessert, aside from cakes and fruits (which i din manage to take pics of coz we were too full to eat)... there was ice cream and ice kacang...

den it was coffee time... aside from a coffee maker.. they also had cappuccino maker!

ok la.. maybe u think we're sua ku.. but we think its interesting!

the night ended around 9 plus and we got home....

Marina Square's Renovation is not completed

With the wrong info from liping, Vanilla was given the idea dat marina square's renovation is over and done and its newly revamped.... who koes its not.. argh... there wasnt much shops dat were open and it was so hard getting from one end to another. Vanilla dropped off my cab near the cinema area and had a hard time getting to the other side of the building..

this is one drama part...Vanilla was at one end of the building where the cinema area was... in between was the Oriental Hotel. Bobo was at the other end of the building and they were on the phone trying to arrange on where to meet.

Den he was saying he was at the open air area beside Oriental Hotel... and she said so was she... they were at opposite sides trying to ask each other if they could see each other.

hahhaahaha.. when Vanilla finally saw him, she was frantically waving out to him like some drama mama qiong yao story characters! hahahhaha.. it was so funny. But the whole renovation work and linkage for marina square sucked big time! From where Vanilla was to get to where Bobo was, she had to get down a flight of stairs and get up another flight of stairs. N the worst thing is after dinner they would hafta take the 2 flight of stairs again to get to the cinema. haiz....

Haybe and andy came around 7.30pm. we were deciding on where to dine.. almost wanted to try Pariss .. luckily we din. Coz everyone wasnt hungry.... and its quite exp leh.. $40+++ per person, even more expensive den ritz carlton's buffet leh...

we went to the food court for our dinner instead.

The curry chicken noodles was the best of the lot. The rest were just so so. Especially the grilled chicken spaghetti.. the chicken tasted sweet? Not very nice...

we chatted and had the usual laughters over dinner...

we went for our movie Seoul Raiders at 9.25 pm. we were all damn full. Because Vanilla bought the combo, everyone was forced to eat the popcorn.. keke...

hahhaa.. yes we all koe hes very full. and yet we purposely make him take and hold the popcorn. Coz usually the one holding it will just subconsciously eat it.. haha...

Breko breko wo de zui ai~

We went for dinner at Bugis Breko. Been yearning for their baked potato.

There wasnt much of a crowd probably coz it was a sunday. When Dean came, he was so sweet, he actually still remembered dat Haybe had a bad cough dat has been going on since.. xmas? so he brought the fairy antidote dat he was telling us about...

supposedly very good for cough.. haha.. and Bobo was also very very sweet neh... he told Vanilla he bought a bottle of ointment for the back for her which he forgot to bring... haha.. well, its the thot dat counts...

and as soon as Dean arrived, Bobo started telling him about the evo 4 story...

Vanilla heard him say the story when he came to pick her up... den when Haybe arrived he told Haybe the story.. den when dean arrived he told dean the story... haha.. 3rd time Vanilla is hearing the story. But it was funny la.. especially it was told by Bobo hahaha....

Breko has a similar concept to cartel? well, but breko's one is more cheapo.... they dun provide u with paper and pencil to take down ur order. The one who's ordering just has to have super mega memory to remember everyone's order when they get to the counter. Vanilla used her fone.. she keyed in all the number codes in my hp.. and the first time round, coz deanie was playing with her fone, it got erased! hhahahahaha.. not deanie's fault is cheapo breko's fault!! n dat gave Bobo an idea.. business idea.. maybe we should invent technology to order food via sms.. oki.. u can go work on this idea... but dun forget the idea is Vanilla's. whahahahhaa...

anyways.. this is us browsing the menu trying to decide what to order..

and in the end we ordered based on my memory... power leh? coz we did order quite a no. of items!

the orders came pretty fast especially the drinks and the baked potato. When the server came with the snow white, he went " Snow White? " and Vanilla replied " here here " and we all had a good luff! He meant to ask whose order it was and Vanilla meant to say it was her order... but it sounded like he was looking for snow white and she was telling him im snow white! get it? hahhahaa...

The cream cheese potato was more like thick cubes of sour cream, very dry. The chicken sausage one was not bad. The egg mayo one was the best amongst the 3. The fried scallops were good.. chicken nuggets were special, different from the usual type. The brownie with ice cream is very very disappointing! It wasnt served warm.. the brownie wasnt nice, even ice cream was lousy... The patty buger was ok, not bad but Vanilla din like the bbq sauce but deanie liked it. The sirloin steak's mash potato was good.. cause it was with black pepper sauce.. yum~ We had ALOT of potato! lol.. Vanilla's grill-a-chick, she specially requested for it to be w/o the bbq sauce, learnt from the previous experience! It was great! very value for money! She had like 3 big pieces of chicken thighs! YuuuuummMMMM!

oh.. the brownie was so bad we couldn't finish it!

hahahhaa.. deanie did lotsa stuff.. like 'threatening' to throw it into the coffee, scratching it with the knife.. lol... finally we managed to 'pacify' him with Vanilla's E810C's games..

while they were going thru all these commotion, Vanilla was playing with my 2 fones trying the cameras...

without a doubt, the 7610's camera is much better...

we ordered alot of food... especially vanilla's mum, afraid dat everyone is not eating enuff. She ordered onion rings and satay to share on top of her black pepper chicken steak...

The black pepper chicken steak was good! the nasi ayam thingy dat Bobo ordered was very good as well! Haybe complained of her bee hoon gorong ikan bilies being too salty but hee.. Vanilla liked it! (coz its salty!) LOL

This isnt the first time vanilla's mum has met bobo coz he's been to her place several times to help me fix my computer but this is the first time shes meeting Haybe and icy. n given Bobo's character, he clicks wif almost everybody... so he was entertaining vanilla's mum also..

hmm... the utensils of Boon Tong Kee on the table were very uniquely displayed..

Boon Tong Kee only offers abalone yu sheng and despite being full, Vanilla ordered the deep fried toufu... it was so soft and smooth.

And we did a very niao3 thing. haha.. why have i been doing niao3 things lately. Well, we walked to wait for a cab behind a group of trio. Suddenly the group turned and ask us to take the next cab dat comes along coz we were here first. Erm... in actual fact, they were there first, we just got there but if u count the time we waited shifting from spot to spot, we were indeed waiting for a much longer time. So erm... we din actually explain ourselves and just thanked them for the offer. =x

but today they kinda invited this lady from the audience up the stage.

I was shocked! But Joanna reacted very well... she was dancing happily ( she looked very sober as well ) with the 3 of them.... they later invited the DJ up on stage as well and started to undress the guy as well...

Haybe asked to meet up for dinner at River Valley today. We went over to Spize...

Ordered the wrong roti john special.. wanted the chicken one but we forgot to specify coz Vanilla dun really take mutton. The fries was good.

We spotted Milo Gorzilla and Milo Dinosaur on the menu. Hmm.. im pretty sure many of u have heard of Milo Dinosaur... its just milo drink with alot of milo powder on top. But Milo Gorzilla? It was priced at $3 whereas Milo Dinosaur was at $2. Vanilla asked if Haybe and Bobo knew the diff.. Bobo's answer was... Gorzilla more expensive means bigger cup and more powder. hahhaa.. sounds pretty logical den Vanilla start to imagine a gorzilla and a dinosaur.

Hmm.... Gorzilla bigger or Dinosaur bigger? Should be Dinosaur right???

anyways.. we later found out dat the difference bwt a milo dinosaur and gorzilla is.. dinosaur is the milo drink wif alot of milo powder on top... milo gorzilla is the milo drink with alot of milo powder on top plus.... ice cream!

Breko's 4th Anniversary / Habebe's birthday Part 3

Breko is celebrating their 4th anniversary today and ALL ITEMS on their menu are on half price? Well, cheapo Levine and cheapo Vanilla rushed down from home to enjoy the special offer! - even despite their super busy and tight schedule ( Levine has a project meeting on home at 8 pm, Vanilla had to meet Haybe and Bobo for expensive dinner at suntec at 7.30 pm ) haha...

We went to the Breko at Bugis. Before we ordered, we even double confirmed...

yeah.. its indeed half price!

So we ordered...

and...

the beer at 2 for $10 doesnt only apply on this 4th anniversary. Its actually on the menu. The food was so so cheap! Actually, even without the half price, its ALREADY VERY CHEAP. It was so cheap dat we felt like ordering everything just to try. haha.. Imagine all dat we ordered only cost us around $26!! The serving was pretty big and it tasted good! We realised its open 24 hours on weekends... hehe.. we found a new cool and good supper place after clubbing next time!

The cheddar potato was normal over.. we probably wld try the other flavours one nxt time. The bbq sauce for the grilled chicken was not nice.. but the chicken itself was very juicy and tender. The saus and mash was YUM!! Levine gave a thumbs up for the Oreo Ice!

Initially when the saus'n'mash came, Levine was saying the sauce wasn't thick enough ( but still not bad ).. den we agreed dat for 50%, we shouldn't complain so much... haha.. n den Levine did this...

hahaha..

with all the food we had.. we needed...

our Extrim and Xando!! haahahaa...

Somehow after eating our Extrim and Xando, we dun feel so sinful.... it gives us the idea dat it'll help us block block block off all the fats! lol

initially when we got there around 6 plus.. we were surprised it wasn't packed at all...

But by 7.30 pm, crowd started coming in so much so dat the servers had to borrow menus from us.

The other day at Breko on monday, we chatted about pimple around the eye area and sure enough,Vanilla got it yesterday! n today, Levine's left eye got swollen!

so 'chun' meh??

after this dinner,Vanilla rushed over to Suntec City for expensive dinner wif Haybe and Bobo... Haybe wanted to treat us.. ( but in the end we treated her instead.. paiseh la. how can make Haybe spend so much.. she already treated us for black angus on sat )

We went for Tony Roma's.

wow.. it was very crowded.. for a weekday dinner, it was this packed..

Haybe managed to pass Bobo his xmas present... though very belated.. lol..

The first thing dat came was the complimentary garlic bread...

It was served like the left pic.. u gotta cut the bread urself ( like cafe cartel ) and they haf this very yummmmmmy garlic spread!! See, we finished every bit of it!! and Bobo was serving us all the way, from cutting the bread to applying to garlic spread...

Then came our soup.. all 3 soup were sedap~~~ all quite nice especially the mushroom soup and baked potato soup. The onion soup although tasted abit like soya sauce (hee) but still quite nice.. salty enough.. or should i say, its more suitable for people who like salty stuff - might taste too salty for some...

The drums from the appetiser platter was very salty and very spicy ah!!! The onion loaf... erm... was oki.. but Black Angus's wild wild west was much nicer. The corn on the cob was very sweet!! *sLuRp* the rest was just so so~

as usual, Bobo was entertaining us.. he sang the children song..

Andy jio-ed us for dinner but ... he first msged us saying he's joining us for dinner but he's not eating.. den he said he's not meetin us for dinner... =.="" organiser not around so we din meet up earlier for dinner.

We met up with the Starbucks at Orchard Parade Hotel. Haybe was wearing the Tiffany & Co. necklace Bobo and Vanilla got for her.

We realised Haybe, levine, Bobo and Vanilla have all not eaten. We wanted to go over to Modestos for dinner... we miss their ravioli and garlic bread!!!!! But before we even got our seats, one server was so rude to Bobo and the whole way they made us wait here and wait there, totally disorganised! We were so pissed off and Vanilla told the servers off and we changed over to Black Angus.

As soon as we sat down with our menu, Luis said something really funny. " I thought they have so many outlets here... but i look at the locations, all not familar one.. den i realised its in the states.. " hahhaa

imagine having so many Black Angus in Singapore! LOL. The service at Black Angus was much better.. but we still missed the food at Modestos.. *whine whine*

we were chatting and Bobo mentioned dat Vanilla always put his ugly pics on her blog.. den Deanie began to hold Vanilla me at knife point...

The wild wild west onion is POWER SIA!!!!! Even a non-onionring lover like Vanilla finds it totally yummy!!! The Stuart's Steak Soup and Baked Potato Soup were also sedap!!! Cheesy Garlic Bread wasn't comparable to Modesto's one though. The fried mushroom was also very nice..... Oooo.. overall a very nice dinner... Haybe treated us all.

After this late dinner.. by around 11.30 pm, we went up to Devilsbar. The table we reserved was packed with most of Haybe and Andy's frenz. As we were standing around, we played around with the curtains... haha...
